Its main feature is the ability to coin absurd but believably sounding (and sometimes, very funny, or profoundly meaningful, or both) Russian neologisms, interacting with and stimulating the linguistic creativity of its user.</p> <ul> <li>Here are some <a href="rwc.html">examples of Russian poetry</a> written by humans assisted by RWC.</li> <li>RWC can also generate Russian prose completely on its own. <a href="rwc-prose.html">Here is an example</a>.</li> </ul> <p>The program was written in the summer of 1992 for MS-DOS. On modern computers, you can run it using the <a href="http://www.dosbox.com">DosBox emulator</a>. <a href="rwc-dosbox.zip">The archive</a> contains the program itself, its source (in C), and a configured copy of DosBox 0.74 for Windows. <a href="rwc-dosbox.zip">Download</a>, unzip, and run one of the batch scripts: <ul> <li>RWC.BAT is the RWC proper: the interactive shell featuring "word editor" and "text editor" panes.
